“In Spring 2003 my friend's younger brother was stabbed in the chest with a kitchen knife. He made it back as far as his front door and collapsed and died there. It was a tragic case of mistaken identity. He was 17.

It was one of those moments when I realised that I could keep talking about what needed to be done by the government or 'society', or I could actually go out there and try to do something about it myself.

After five and a half years of on the ground experience working with young people and schools we believe that we have developed a series of ideas and programmes which provide genuine solutions for employers, schools, society and young people."
